» The Top 30 Albums of 2010 - Fashionably, fabulously late, our favorite music (and believe me, there was a LOT) of 2010, the year that some have called the best year for music ever. And only some of those fools work here. Plenty of usual suspects, lots of ties and a few surprises that I won't spoil, including our unexpected #1.

» Live: Surfer Blood/The Drums at Lincoln Hall, Chicago, IL - Remember when Weezer used to put together records that you could sing along to and rock out to? That's what Surfer Blood's show was like!

Biography: HOBBIES/INTERESTS/FREETIME ACTIVITIES: Spending time with my son Austin who turned 3 this month. Riding my new hog which is a 2000 Honda Shadow VT 750 American Classic! CURRENT INFATUATION / HEAVY ROTATION: Martin Grech's record "Open Heart Zoo" is blowing my mind right now. American Draft volume I:II is in my player a lot. Recently my poison has been older stuff....Sonic Youth "Daydream Nation", Drive Like Jehu "Yank Crime", Hoover "Lurid Traversal of Route 7". The New Modest Mouse record and of course...Murder By Death "Who Will Survive...." and both Constantiens albums.
Again...My bike is my "get away" and have been riding most of my free time.

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO TAKE LAS/WHERE DO YOU WANT LAS TO TAKE YOU: I would simple like to refine my writing. I have a lot to learn and a lot to give. I simply enjoy the experiences I have been allowed at LAS.

MOST MEMORABLE LIFE EXPERIENCE: Easily when my son was born.

SUM YOURSELF UP IN ONE SENTENCE: I am well aware of how blessed I am in every facet of life allowing me to appreciate every second and I am a dancing machine.
