10 - A Masterpiece - A release of this caliber is extremely rare, occurring maybe a few times a decade. Anyone who truly cares about quality in their art should own this.

09 - Near Perfect - Artistic statements such as this won't come along often. Take heed.

08 - Above average - Displays a great deal of thought and obvious talent. An overall success, although we wouldn't necessarily consider it a requirement.

07 - Generally Good - Negative qualities have crept in, but the positive come out on top. Gets a high-five from us.

06 - A Face in the Crowd - This release has its positive, as well as negative characteristics, neither of which outweighs the other. In a word: blah.

05 - Below Average - While promising, this piece has a number of overwhelming negative qualities which hinder the listener's enjoyment.

04 - A Disappointment - Showing almost zero amount of promise, this needs improvement in a variety of ways.

03 - Trite - This piece sinks like a stone. Not even putting up a fight for your attention from beginning to end.

02 - A Failure - As a whole, this composition fails to keep its head above the surface. Dominated by inadequacy, the piece reveals a lack of talent and/or creativity at every turn.

01 - Ghastly - Compositions such as this leave you with but one question - WHY? - Why would a group of people so obviously devoid of any talent or insight even bother? Something of such a low caliber is difficult to even fathom.

00 - Sickening - Addressing the mere existence of this piece causes undesirable physical responses. It's a ZERO, okay? It doesn't get any lower than this.
